Slackin’ Again

OK, so it’s another busy Sunday so I figured I would again take the easy way out and just pop on to make note of a few important things that I believe are of vital importance, at least for me

  1. The Brewers are on one of their longest winning streaks to date as of last night and they play a 1:05 CT game today against the KC Royals. Yovanni is on the mound and if you haven’t seen this guy pitch yet, you best tune into FSN WI or some other media outlet where you can at least catch stats from the game because he looked like the star he is projected to be in his last start and, with the help of the Crew’s powerful offense right now, he should be able to put up another fine outing for the Brewers.
  2. Along those same lines, we are coming down the home stretch of All Star voting for the MLB. Now, I am not a huge fan of letting the fans choose the starters, a topic of one of my posts this coming week, but, for once, a Brewer has a chance to crack the starting lineup. Prince Fielder holds a small edge over Albert Pujols and needs your help. Even if you are not a fan of the team I implore you to go out and vote (you can vote up to 25 times a day). I’ve been doing my part, have you? Go to: Vote Now to make your voice heard for Prince and all the other deserving Brewers (whose names are JJ Hardy, Ricky Weeks, Ryan Braun, Corey Hart, and Bill Hall for those of you who don’t follow the team.
  3. Finally, what are you doing reading my post? In Madison, at least, it’s too nice of a day to be stuck inside looking at my page or reading it on a reader. Get outside and enjoy the day. Visit the zoo, go to a park, or just take a walk/run to seize the great weather that we don’t often have in WI.

Thanks, now back to your regularly scheduled weekend.
